3Commas is one of the most mature bot platforms around: DCA, signal and grid bots across many exchanges, futures support on higher tiers, backtesting, a mobile app, and years of iteration. If you want to run many bots on many pairs from one cloud dashboard, it earns its price. As checked in July 2026, plans run from $20/mo (Starter: spot only, 2 active grid bots) to $50/mo (Pro) and $140/mo (Expert), with a free trial.
The architectural difference matters more than the feature list. 3Commas is a cloud platform: your exchange API keys are stored on its servers so your bots can run 24/7 without your machine. CryptoBot Pro is a desktop app for Windows, Linux and macOS: your API keys live in files on your own machine and are never sent to a third-party server. The trade-off is that your machine must be on for the bot to trade. It also does far less, on purpose: one pair (BTC/USDC), one strategy (spot grid, BUY → SELL cycles), with the maintainer's live fee-adjusted track record published on the site.
