The best BTC grid trading bots in 2026, ranked by use case

Prices and features checked in July 2026. Always verify current pricing on each vendor's site.

This list is written by someone who runs a BTC grid bot with real money, with the numbers published on this site, the Hyperliquid share of them verifiable on-chain. That cuts both ways: one of the five tools below is mine (CryptoBot Pro), and that is stated openly where it appears. There are no affiliate links on this page.

Most "best grid bot" lists rank ten tools from 1 to 10 as if one bot were best for everyone. That is not how it works. The right choice depends on where you want your funds and API keys to live, how many strategies you actually need, and how much you are willing to pay. So instead of a single winner, here is one honest pick per use case, using prices and trial terms as checked in July 2026, detailed on the Pionex, 3Commas, Cryptohopper and Bitsgap comparison pages on this site.

The five picks at a glance

Best if you want zero subscription cost: Pionex

BOTS FREE · 0.05% SPOT FEE · CUSTODIAL · CLOUD

Pionex is a crypto exchange with 16+ trading bots built in, including several grid variants. The bots cost nothing to use; you only pay the flat 0.05% spot maker/taker fee (as reported in July 2026). Combined with web, iOS and Android apps and 24/7 cloud execution, it is one of the cheapest ways to run a grid bot, full stop.

The trade-off is the big one: Pionex is custodial. Your funds must be deposited on the Pionex exchange itself, so you are trusting a single platform with both custody and execution. If that is acceptable to you, the price is hard to beat. If it is not, every other tool on this list connects to an exchange account you already have. Full comparison: Pionex vs CryptoBot Pro.

Best for multi-strategy cloud trading: 3Commas

$20 TO $140/MO · NON-CUSTODIAL · CLOUD · FUTURES FROM PRO TIER

If you want to run DCA, signal and grid bots side by side across several exchanges from one dashboard, 3Commas is the most mature option we compared. It has years of iteration behind it, backtesting, a mobile app, and futures support on higher tiers. As checked in July 2026, plans run from $20/mo (Starter: spot only, 2 active grid bots) to $50/mo (Pro) and $140/mo (Expert), with a free trial on paid plans and active API keys limited per tier (1 / 3 / 15).

It is non-custodial: funds stay on your exchange. Your API keys, however, are stored on 3Commas servers so the bots can run 24/7 without your machine. Whether that is fine or a dealbreaker is the main question to answer before paying. Full comparison: 3Commas vs CryptoBot Pro.

Best all-in-one terminal across many exchanges: Bitsgap

$23 TO $119/MO ANNUAL · NON-CUSTODIAL · CLOUD · 17+ EXCHANGES

Bitsgap's pitch is one dashboard for everything: GRID, DCA and COMBO futures bots, smart orders, an AI assistant, and a unified trading terminal connected to 17+ exchanges. If you actively trade on several venues and want portfolio tracking plus bots in one place, it is the most complete terminal we compared. As checked on bitsgap.com in July 2026, paid plans run from $23/mo (Basic: 3 grid bots, 10 DCA bots) to $55/mo (Advanced) and $119/mo (Pro) at annual billing ($29, $69 and $149 billed monthly), with a free demo-bot plan and a 7-day Pro trial.

Like 3Commas, it is non-custodial but cloud-based: your API keys sit on Bitsgap's servers. The demo mode is a genuinely useful way to try grid logic before committing funds. Full comparison: Bitsgap vs CryptoBot Pro.

Best for beginners who want a cloud marketplace: Cryptohopper

$24.16 TO $107.50/MO ANNUAL · NON-CUSTODIAL · CLOUD · MARKETPLACE

Cryptohopper is the pick if you would rather start from someone else's strategy than configure your own: it has a strategy marketplace, copy and social trading, and AI-assisted strategies, plus a mobile app. To its credit, it is clear about custody: funds stay on your exchange, connected via API keys with no withdrawal rights requested. As checked in July 2026, plans run from $24.16/mo (Explorer) to $57.50/mo (Adventurer) and $107.50/mo (Hero) at annual billing, about 20% more billed monthly.

Two caveats. The free trial is 3 days, which is short for judging any trading strategy. And marketplace results are seller-reported, so treat them as advertising until you have verified them with your own small test. Full comparison: Cryptohopper vs CryptoBot Pro.

Best local-first, your keys stay on your PC: CryptoBot Pro

$5.99/MO OR $49.99/YR · NON-CUSTODIAL · LOCAL · 90-DAY TRIAL

Full disclosure: this one is mine. I build and maintain CryptoBot Pro, and I run it daily with my own money. Judge this pick with that in mind, and check the numbers rather than taking my word: the live, fee-adjusted track record is published on the home page with a Verify on-chain button, and the raw data is served at /performance.json.

CryptoBot Pro is the only tool on this list where your API keys never leave your machine. It is a desktop app for Windows, Linux and macOS that runs one strategy (a BTC/USDC spot grid with completed BUY → SELL cycles) on the exchange account you already have, across 7 supported venues: Hyperliquid, Bitvavo, Aster (DEX, BTC/USDT quote mapped to the bot's USDC accounting), Kraken, MEXC, KuCoin, and Binance (services suspended for EU residents since 1 July 2026, pending an EU licence). Pricing is $5.99/mo, $29.99/6 months or $49.99/12 months with every feature on every plan, and the trial is 90 days, full-featured, long enough to judge the strategy against its published record.

It is also the most limited tool here, on purpose: one pair, one strategy, no futures, no mobile app, no cloud. Your PC must be on for the bot to trade. If you need bot variety or 24/7 execution without a machine running, pick one of the cloud platforms above.
